The personal service at Van Dyke begins with their family like staff setting. Dr. Kahl has dedicated her efforts to finding just the right fit for the clinic as evidenced by her two full time staff members.
The standard of care at Van Dyke Animal Clinic is second to none and we are dedicated to knowing you, your pet and both of your needs. From the moment you are greeted by Cyndi to the expert veterinary care given by Dr. Kahl, you and your loved one are treated exactly how we would want to be treated.
Dr. Kahl built Van Dyke on principles that foster personal relationships with clients and patients. She and her staff understand the key to the best veterinary care, is listening to you. You know your pet best, you know when something just isn’t right, or when things are going much better. We’re here to listen and by listening we can provide the best veterinary care possible!
Michele Kahl, DVM
Dr. Kahl was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She has a BS in Animal Sciences, and is a 1994 graduate of the Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating from K-State, she spent 5 years practicing in the Chicago area, and in 1999, moved to the Tampa area where she practiced as a relief Veterinarian working in Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco Counties.
Dr. Kahl quickly learned the importance of the relationship between veterinarian and client. To better serve pets and their owners, Dr. Kahl began her own practice in 2008. She believes strongly in making a personal connection with each client to better understand the needs of her patients. At Van Dyke, she established a culture that appreciates and respects the input of each client and carefully communicates the best care plan for you and your pet. We challenge you to find a more caring vet that is more invested in each and every pet’s health.
When not at the clinic, Dr. Kahl enjoys traveling, going to concerts and spending time with her family.
